You might have noticed the recent changes Facebook has made to your profile page. The first major change you will notice is the placement of your profile picture. The new location is front and center for everyone to see much easier. In this area your most recent photos that you’ve posted or any photos that you’ve been tagged in will be displayed, whereas any photos that are posted by other people who like your page, will not be posted here.
Facebook now has e-mail notifications that notify any page owner when another person has posted a picture or comment on your page. Another new feature to Facebook is Page Mode. Page Mode is a new addition that allows the user to switch from their personal page and use Facebook as if you are the page. While in Page Mode you will still be able to view your news feed, receive page notifications, and post on other pages as your page, which probably makes this the most interesting change Facebook is making.
Profile pages will now have two public wall filters that separate posts by page and posts from everyone else. If you are the owner of a page, you can also access two more private filters that separate most recent posts and hidden posts.
Now gone are the tabs on the top of your page which were replaced with links to aforementioned tabs that you can now find right below your profile picture where the text box underneath your profile used to be displayed but now
appears on the info page.
There are a few other minor changes such as the option to feature other pages you like or the option to feature the owners of certain pages. Since Facebook has changed the picture size from 200/600 to 180/540, you may want to adjust your profile picture because if the image is to large the right side will be chopped until said picture fits.
